Audio Recording Homework Assignment

Recently I decided to add an audio recording group homework assignment to my lesson plan.  Below is my lesson plan and all the materials for that assignment that I developed.  Feel free to copy and paste for your own use:)






Lesson plan for pages 27-30
1.       Question of the day:  What are your plans tonight?
2.       Vocab test

4.       Read page 27
a.       Comprehension questions
5.       Page 27 listening sheet
a.       Students listen and fill in blanks

6.       Future grammar
a.       What are you going to do future time ? /  I’m going to verb  ~하려고   85-99%
b.      What are you doing future time?  /  I’m verb+ing  future time.  90-100%

14.   Have students make their groups of 2-3.  Record groups.

a.       How can you record?  What are you going to use to record the sound?

16.   HW:  Turn in dialogue recording, vocabulary for 31-35 (first vocabulary and expressions section), finish 31-35 unfinished parts, 36-40 preview 

Audio Recording Homework

Students will create a situation and create an original dialogue between two or three people.  Students will memorize and make an audio recording of this situation.  Students will turn in the audio recording to the teacher in MP3 or MP4 file format, by the following week.

The conversation flows but sounds like the student is reading the lines.
The student has not memorized the conversation well and makes odd pauses in the sentence.

Recording
The recording was well done and very clear.
The recording was unclear or there were parts that were not very audible.
The recording was not audible enough to understand and grade.
